She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Universidad Europea de Madrid, Madrid, Spain. She attended the post-graduate program in Implant Dentistry at University College of Dentistry, New York, NY. Dr. Pena continued her education in general dentistry and postgraduate program in special needs at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
